Fishing has always been one of my favorite hobbies. I have always enjoyed being on the water and fishing allows me to slow down, relax, and enjoy my surroundings. At the same time, fishing can also be exciting because of the rush you get when you finally hook onto something. Whether I am fishing from the shore or a boat, it is something I have always enjoyed doing.
While I enjoy all types of fishing, saltwater fishing has always been my favorite. I like the variety of fish you can catch and growing up on the coast of Florida has grown my love for the ocean. I also enjoy traveling to different coastal areas to fish. Saltwater fishing gives me the opportunity to catch larger fish, meet new people, and experience an environment that is completely different from freshwater fishing.
My love for fishing has also led to a bigger interest in marine biology and ocean conservation. I enjoy learning about different marine life, how ocean ecosystems work, and the importance of protecting marine habitats. I find it interesting how everything in the ocean is connected and how changes to an environment can affect the animals that live there. Marine conservation is something I would like to learn more about in the future, especially as I continue fishing and spending more time around the ocean.
